Toyota’s pride: PRIUS 2010
Toyota Prius 2010 has already reached a record of selling 446 cars in first month. Its not even a month as Prius was launched on 20th July 2007.The aerodynamics and trade mark styling remains the same but the stylists hard work has updated the fascia and the sharper body gives the model a confident appearance.
Prius’s cockpit has always been a prominent features for years together and this model further says the story of its success and grandeur. It has the joystick-kind shifter which has been mounted to a center console that stretches from the dash board to the driver. Under console there is an open space for the storage.
Controls and instruments are arranged in logical groups and placed on the dash board in a digital way. It also has the touring package which is optional and adds to its melodramatic looks. It includes illuminated door sills, rear view camera, phone with Bluetooth and a wonderful JBL stereo with auto CD changer. Entry and exit both are very simple with enough storage facilities for small and important items. The rear seats can be folded flat to fit in larger things. One more extra place for storage is under the trunk’s floor panel.
It runs peacefully and smoothly on the highway. It has the firm grip on the road even in windy weather. It also has a Power mode and driver can choose amongst several levels of Power-train. There is a default mode which offers an all- round throttle feel, whereas its ECO mode helps in saving the fuel.
