Most of the Action stars may lose their stardom when they get into their 50’s. But it’s not true with Bruce Willis. Bruce, who turned fifty four, last month, is flooded with offers even now. The discussion of three action movies starring Bruce is already heading. This include ‘Inventory’, a thriller from NuImage/Millenium, ‘Red’, from Summit and ‘Scarpa’, from Morgan Creek. Bruce portrays the role of a detective who is chasing a murderer. Bruce will be cast as an ex-black-ops agent who is brought back into service because of the threat from a high-tech assassin.
In another offer, ‘Scarpa’ he plays an FBI informant working deeply undercover. Bruce Willis became famous through the ‘die hard’ movies, Mercury Rising and Armageddon which were all action flicks. He also experimented in the less action roles through films like The Sixth Sense, The Kid etc. He is a very versatile actor but he was always related to action flicks. Most of the action stars find it hard to maintain their marketability after reaching mid-century mark. But there are some exceptions like Sylvester Stallone and Harrison ford still do action flicks. Most probably Bruce Willis will be going their way. Bruce Willis is a strong fighter by nature and it is just a matter of time before he hits the top list again. But for reaching the top slot he may need good scripts and projects. If he is able to get some good offers which actually work, he can still make it to the top.
